How Is A Facial Performed?
After a consultation to create your best treatment based on your skin type and needs, you can lie back in a treatment room as your facial begins. Your facial will be customized, but most treatments will start with a deep cleansing to clear away dirt, oil, makeup, and lotion. After the skin is cleaned, steam is safely used to open clogged pores so whiteheads and blackheads can be easily extracted. This is often followed by a type of exfoliation, either done by hand or with an add-on treatment (chemical peel or microdermabrasion). A serum or mask may then be massaged in for deep nourishment. To end the treatment, an SPF moisturizer selected for your skin type will be smoothed on to protect you from sun damage following the treatment.
